Cycle One students from Mrs Lemay and Mrs Mohammed's class learned about the rain forest. They decided to put on a show for the parents to show what they've learned in class about the rain forest. They wanted to tell a beautiful story at the beginning called "The Cowrie Thieves". Then Mrs. Lemay's class known as the "Tribal People" danced and sang. After, Mrs Mohammed 's class "the Monkeys" had their turn to dance and sing. Then, they joined together to sing and dance to the songs "Monkey Monkey", "Sneaky snake", and "I live in the forest". They were so well prepared, they knew their parts by heart and looked so cute on stage. At the end there were little snacks like juice, cakes and cookies. Some parents stayed with their children and ate. The children enjoyed the dance and the song. They told us that they like to do it.
